Formula One side Mercedes have unveiled their new car ahead of the start fo the 2024 season, set to be seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton’s last season with the side led by Toto Wolff.

The new car has been titled W15 and includes an array of changes and upgrades to the previous version of the Silver Arrow’s car such as a new chassis, and new gearbox casing.

Team Principal Toto Wolff said, “We know we have a mountain to climb to fight at the very front. The off-season has gone well and the whole team is incredibly focused and determined.”

The team has also worked on the aerodynamics of the machine trying to reduce drag and increase the efficiency and output while complimenting the functions of the suspensions and tyres.

The team’s technical director James Allison opined, “The design of any car is an iterative process. We’ve worked hard to improve on areas of weakness and hopefully have a solid base to build from.”

Mercedes finished the 2023 season second in the constructor’s table with 409 points to their name with 8podium finishes.
